Duke George Jr. was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 1967. His 40-year career in public service (former public defender) and private practice has chiefly focused on criminal defense, although he also has an impressive track record in civil litigation. He has successfully defended clients against high-level felonies such as murder, rape, robbery and white collar fraud.

Mr. George is admitted in state and federal courts of Pennsylvania, including the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. He has served as counsel for the Selective Service System, and is a past member of the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania that sanctions lawyers for ethics violations.

Daniel Joseph has practiced law since 1972. He primarily handles medical malpractice and personal injury claims, with a lengthy record of plaintiff verdicts and substantial settlements for his clients. He is a former public defender and assistant D.A. who still takes some criminal cases. Mr. Joseph also represents workers’ compensation claimants and can provide efficient estate administration for a decedent’s estate.

Mr. Joseph has been named to Who’s Who in American Law, Outstanding Lawyers of America and Pennsylvania Super Lawyers. Recognition in these publications is based on the opinions of peers or judges for the attorney’s integrity, commitment to the profession and accomplishments on behalf of clients.

Mr. George and Mr. Joseph are death penalty certified by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court to defend those accused of a capital crime. This certification is based on years of trial experience, types of cases tried over a career and continuing legal education in criminal law. Both are active in local, state and national professional organizations, including membership and leadership positions in the Pennsylvania Bar Association and Westmoreland Bar Association.
